SKY SELECTS ARC LEGAL FOR NEW SKY PROTECT SMART HOME INSURANCE PRODUCT

3rd May 2023 – Arc Legal Group, part of the AmTrust Financial Group, a specialist provider of Legal Expenses Insurance and ancillary products and services, has been chosen by Sky to support the launch of Sky Protect Smart Home Insurance, its brand-new insurance offering in the UK.

Following the launch of its Sky Protect Home Insurance offering on aggregators in December 2022, Sky Protect Smart Home Insurance is now available to customers. It combines comprehensive home insurance and embedded ancillary products which includes Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI) and Cyber Assistance provided by Arc Legal Group.

The Sky Protect package also includes a Smart Home technology bundle comprising of a smart doorbell, in-home cameras and motion and leak detection technology, which integrates with the Sky Protect App to allow customers to view the camera feeds in real time, receive alert notifications and react to events that might result in a claim.

The multi-year deal will cement Arc Legal’s position as a major LEI and ancillary insurance provider to the UK market.
