If a legal case needs to be pursued, our intelligent Online Claims System (OCS) guides claimants through the claims journey; and we decide within 5 days on whether a claim can proceed under the insurance policy. Once accepted, each claim is then assessed on its own merit using specialist in external panel accountants. We then either fully fund the legal case or provide additional support and guidance to help the claimant reach a settlement.

We know that the customer’s existing accountant is often best placed to deal with any tax enquiry, and therefore, subject to agreeing reasonable terms, will appoint the customer’s own accountant and provide indemnity under the policy.
