Cyber Insurance: A widely spoken about product that is becoming increasingly popular amongst businesses. But what about protection for families and individuals?

At Arc Legal, we continuously work with our corporate partners to innovate and improve our products. Following the launch of Cyber Support for businesses, we are seeing an increased demand for a cyber support policy for individuals, to be sold alongside a Home Insurance policy.

As a result, we are developing a new Personal Cyber product will provide cover for professional fees to deal with cyber-attacks, as well as guidance on preventative measures before such an attack occurs.

Policyholders will have access to an advice line where they can receive expert opinion on the adequacy of their cyber security arrangements and a remote audit service to assess security measures will also be covered.

In the event of an attack, they can also access a crisis line and a full-service recovery to help customers recuperate, and reinstate their systems, allowing them to continue to trade.

The product is aimed to protect the individual before, during and after a potential cyber-attack.

Our personal cyber product will be available in Q4 this year.
