ARC TO PROVIDE BESPOKE LANDLORD LEGAL SERVICES FOR DEACON

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc), the bespoke legal costs insurance provider launched in April this year, has been appointed by Deacon Insurance Services (Deacon), one of the UK’s leading specialist property insurance intermediary.

Using Arc, Deacon will provide a comprehensive Home Owners Legal Cost Insurance cover and Legal helpline for its customers.

The Home Owners Legal Cost cover, available as part of Deacon’s Homebuyers buildings and contents cover package, has been tailored to meet the needs of private property landlords. Features include cover for the defence costs for prosecutions brought under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use), the Electrical Equipment (Safety) and the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) Regulations.

Arc will also be providing a Legal Advice Line for private and residential management company customers of Deacon’s with Blocks of Flats insurance cover. The Advice Line will automatically be included to provide 24-hour legal advice on property and tenant related matters.
