Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), a leading provider of legal expenses insurance and assistance services in the UK, has agreed a deal with insurance administrator and distributor Paymentshield to provide Family Legal Expenses Insurance and Home Emergency cover to over 250,000 homeowner and tenant policyholders.
As part of the offering, Arc Legal has developed a new online Home Emergency claims submission portal, in partnership with sister company Legal Insurance Management (LIM), who will service claims under the policy. The system allows Paymentshield customers to log a home emergency claim quickly and conveniently, as an alternative to a traditional telephone claim submission.
Arc Legal has an established partnership with Paymentshield, having provided Legal Expenses, Rent Guarantee and Property Emergency products to its landlord and letting agent customer base since 2019. The new deal represents a significant expansion to this partnership, with Arc Legal becoming the sole provider of Legal Expenses and Home Emergency assistance across Paymentshield’s product portfolio.
