ARC LEGAL DOMINATES IRISH BIKER MARKET…

…WITH NEW AXA IRELAND DEAL

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), the bespoke legal expenses provider, now provides Motor Legal Expenses Insurance (MLEI) to 90% of insured motor bikes in Ireland following its appointment by AXA Insurance Ireland (AXA Ireland) as provider on all its motor bike policies.

Arc Legal’s MLEI is now offered on all policies, the majority of which are sold through leading broker Aon. The broker can now benefit from a streamlined policy administration process with the motor bike cover and MLEI policy being sourced from AXA Ireland rather than dual providers as was previously the case.

The agreement extends Arc Legal’s relationship with AXA Ireland which began in 2007 with its appointment to provide MLEI as part of the insurer’s ‘AXA Motor Extra Benefits’ – package, an optional extension to all AXA Ireland motor insurance policy holders.

The deal increases Arc Legal’s dominance of the motor bike legal expenses market in Ireland. The company’s product is already being distributed by the other major motorbike insurance broker in Ireland. The Irish market is a significant growth area for Arc Legal which already provides personal and motor legal expenses cover to AXA Ireland together with MLEI and a claims notification service for two leading Irish brokers.
