Feedback Thursday

Landlords are now battling significant increases in mortgage interest rates, greater requirements around EPC testing, and changes to how Tenancy Agreements operate in England, making it much harder to regain possession of their property.

In these tough times, our Legal Expenses and Rent Guarantee insurance (LERG) has been invaluable to this customer time and time again.

Our LERG insurance is well regarded across the market for quality of legal advice and service. Rent payments are made promptly, and rather than pushing all customers to resolve their disputes in an oversubscribed court system, we prefer to focus on other methods of dispute resolution to find the right solution for the customer.

“I had a tenant issue and didn’t know how to go forward with eviction proceedings. The legal advice I was given was very clear and the relevant documents were forwarded by email. I’ve always received good advice from Arc Legal, they are very supportive, and as a landlord, it’s nice to have someone on my side.”

Read our recent update on why landlords are turning away from rental properties, and the benefits of LERG insurance. Read more.

Corporate social responsibility: Christmas jumper day

Our offices are decked, and our colleagues are in the Christmas spirit as we celebrate Christmas Jumper Day to raise much needed funds for our chosen employee charity, Make-A-Wish.

Some colleagues went above and beyond, the First Response (FRU) office door is adorned with its very own FRU naughty elves, and we even have our own snowman!

AmTrust Cares clothes drive

Following the huge success of our charity food drive earlier this year, our colleagues are donating unwanted pre-loved clothes to help give warmth this festive season as part of the AmTrust Cares corporate giving programme.

Collections are taking place across our offices in Colchester, Cardiff and Brierley Hill until the 15th December, and all donations will be given to local charities.
