ARC LEGAL LEADS MARKET IN EMBRACING LEGAL SERVICES ACT

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), the specialist legal expenses insurance provider, has continued to grow its provision of legal services business aligned to the Legal Services Act with its appointment to provide a package of tailored group legal protection cover and legal products to Life & Legal, an employee benefits provider specialising in legal, financial and lifestyle benefits and services.

Arc Legal is providing cover for costs relating to employment and personal matters faced by employees of Life & Legal clients including a number of multi-national global brands and household names. The insurance is part of a package of benefits available to employees including discounted uninsured legal products such as will writing, conveyancing and family law services which are arranged by Life & Legal.

The package has been arranged by 3XD, a specialist insurance provider offering general insurance products through financial intermediaries. Mike Riding, Operations Director, 3XD – Life & Legal’s appointed broker – said: “It was vital for us to find a legal expenses provider who could offer a bespoke cover that really matched our clients’ needs. Arc Legal’s different approach, and its understanding and experience in the affinity group legal expenses market, made them the natural choice going forward.”

The Life & Legal contract also further develops Arc Legal’s affinity group legal expenses insurance business. The cover is underwritten by Groupama Insurances, one of the UK’s leading general insurers.
