ARC APPOINTS CLAIMS MANAGER

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc), the bespoke legal expenses insurance provider, has today announced the appointment of Rebecca Conway as claims manager.

Rebecca will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the claims process for all of Arc’s business. She will liaise closely with solicitors, authorising and monitoring claims. She will also work closely with Arc customers on all aspects of the claims process.

Another important aspect of Rebecca’s role will be overseeing the installation of Arc’s new claims management system. Due to be launched later in the summer, this bespoke system has been developed in conjunction with Telemere, a provider of specialist software systems.

Arc Director, Frank O’Malley said: “We are absolutely delighted that Rebecca has joined us. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with legal expenses claims essential to the development of our business.”

Rebecca joins Arc from Amicus Legal Ltd where she was a legal advisor within the company’s conditional fee insurance department and helpline operation.

She has over 15 years experience of running insurance claims and general litigation, spread between private practice and in legal costs providers including Hambro Assistance (now Capita Insurance Services). A particular area of expertise is travel claim litigation. A number of Rebecca’s cases have been reported in Current Law.

Rebecca is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
