AMTRUST INTERNATIONAL ACQUIRES ARC LEGAL ASSISTANCE

AmTrust International, a wholly owned subsidiary of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., has today announced the acquisition of Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), a leading legal expenses insurance and assistance provider in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The terms of the acquisition are not disclosed.

AmTrust is one of the market’s leading specialist legal expenses insurers.

Arc Legal is a managing general agent (MGA) that provides a range of legal expenses insurance (LEI) and assistance products. It manages over 14 million legal expenses policies covering personal, motor, commercial, affinity, property owners, travel and leisure risks. Products are distributed in partnership with insurance companies, brokers, financial institutions and affinity groups.
