Arc Legal and Markerstudy Distribution

May 2026 - Arc Legal Group (Arc Legal), has strengthened its partnership with Markerstudy Distribution and will now provide Rent Guarantee Insurance to Swinton Insurance
Colchester, UK,5 May 2026: Arc Legal Group (Arc Legal), part of ANV, a leading provider of Legal Expenses Insurance and Assistance products, has strengthened its partnership with Markerstudy Distribution and will now provide Rent Guarantee Insurance to Swinton Insurance landlord customers.

The scheme, building on the relationship between Arc Legal and Swinton in place since 2010, is an extension to the Legal Expenses cover already provided to residential property owner customers.

The importance of Landlord Legal Expenses and Rent Guarantee Insurance is expected to increase following the establishment of the Renters Rights Act, coming into force on 1st May 2026. With the abolishment of Section 21 Eviction Notices, and increased periods for landlords to pursue eviction claims, rent default periods will increase, creating a heightened risk for landlords. The Arc Legal offering addresses this risk, backed by a specialist landlord claim team who achieve market leading eviction times.

Commenting on the partnership, Craig Lane, Partnership Manager at Arc Legal said: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Markerstudy Distribution and the Swinton brand with this launch. Rent Guarantee gives landlords greater peace of mind, particularly with the implementation of the Renters Rights Act looming. We look forward to continuing to work with the team and providing support to promote this valuable product to their customers.”

Karl Askey, Ancillaries Manager at Markerstudy Distribution commented: “We value our long-standing relationship with Arc Legal and are pleased to be enhancing our offering to customers with the introduction of Rent Guarantee Insurance. This addition enhances the protection available to landlords and reflects our shared commitment to provide high-value solutions, particularly in light of the significant changes the Renters Rights Act will bring. We look forward to continuing to work together.”
