Composite and Arc Legal, both subsidiaries of AmTrust International Limited, have successfully operated independently following their acquisitions in 2015 and 2016, respectively. The new, combined operation will provide a growing full suite of Before the Event (BTE) and After the Event (ATE) legal expenses and assistance products.
The key management changes for the combined business are:
AmTrust International Ltd, a subsidiary of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., is committed to the success of the combined business, and the new management structure will create a single efficient operation across two sites in Colchester and Cardiff. This commitment was further reinforced in August 2019 with the acquisition of Legal Insurance Management (LIM) located in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. The newly combined Arc Legal and Composite business is already working closely with LIM on operational initiatives and collaborated to secure recent significant new business wins.
“Arc Legal and Composite have successfully worked alongside one another for over three and a half years now. By integrating the two businesses more closely, we strongly believe that we’ll be able to enhance our service offering, create more growth opportunities and yield greater benefit from our combined and complimentary expertise.”
Speaking about the opportunities with the LIM business, O’Malley added: “We are very excited to have LIM within the group and look forward to developing our combined offerings further in the UK and Ireland markets.”
Arc Legal CEO Lee Taylor outlines the value in having a supportive parent of the scale of AmTrust; and why it makes sense to keep an eye on legislation and social changes in order to keep innovating.
