ESURE APPOINTS ARC LEGAL FOR COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY LEGAL EXPENSES SCHEME

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), a leading legal expenses insurance and assistance services provider in the UK and Republic of Ireland, has been appointed to provide a comprehensive family legal expenses scheme to esure Group.

The scheme will see it provide cover to over 500,000 esure and Sheilas’ Wheels home insurance customers, making it one of the largest family legal expenses provided by Arc Legal. The company replaces esure Group’s current provider after a competitive tender process.

The insurance product is supported by Arc Legal’s new online claims reporting system which has been developed specifically to improve the customer legal expenses claims journey.

Arc Legal manages the claims process being delivered by leading law firm Irwin Mitchell. Arc Legal’s business model provides claimants with access to an independent solicitor from the outset of the claims process. This ensures greater product integrity and avoids potential conflicts of interest in the assessment of coverage and prospects of success in pursuing a claim, which might exist if in-house legal expenses lawyers are used.
