ARC LEGAL PROVIDES 1 IN 3 POLICE MEMBERS

Arc Legal now provides legal protection to 1 in 3 members of Police federations in England and Wales.

Four new schemes position Arc as a leading provider

Arc Legal Assistance (Arc), the bespoke legal costs insurance provider, today announces it now arranges legal protection cover for 1 in 3 members of Police Federations in England and Wales, having been appointed on a further four schemes.

Arc has been appointed to provide bespoke legal expenses insurance cover for members of the Federations covering the West Midlands, Devon and Cornwall, Warwickshire and Essex. The cover is for off duty matters and forms part of a package of benefits offered to individual members by George Burrows, part of the Heath Lambert group.

The Arc policy, designed to complement on duty protection provided by the Federations themselves, is already available to members of a number of other Federations, including the Metropolitan Police, the UK’s largest. These latest appointments bring the total number of members covered to around 40,000.

Arc’s Police Federation product provides off duty Police Officers and dependants with cover for costs relating to contractual disputes, personal injury, employment disputes, disputes over or damage to property, and prosecution defence including those relating to motor vehicles. Members will also have access to a tax advice telephone service.
