ARC ANGELS GIVE WELCOME BOOST TO ESSEX AIR AMBULANCE

Arc Angels, the charity arm of specialist legal expenses insurance provider Arc Legal Assistance (Arc Legal), has donated a new, portable aspirator to the Essex Air Ambulance (EAA) to help the charity with its life-saving work.

The new aspirator is an essential piece of equipment as many air-lifted patients require anaesthesia to help them survive the trauma of the medical emergency or accident in which they have been injured. The aspirator helps to clear the patients’ airway so that their breathing can be managed safely.

Arc Legal is a Colchester-based specialist provider of legal expenses insurance products and related services. Under its ‘Arc Angels’ brand, the firm supports voluntary organisations and the fundraising efforts of its staff, partners and clients at both a local and national level. It has selected four key charities for corporate support and the Essex Air Ambulance is one of them.

The Essex Air Ambulance is one of the most advanced air ambulances in the UK. It is crewed by a team of highly trained doctors and paramedics and carries an array of emergency medical equipment. The EAA receives no funding from the National Lottery and relies on the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex.

The Essex Air Ambulance carries out vital work every day across our county. We all hope we’ll never need its services but we want it to be there if we do.
