CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

Arc Angels is Arc Legal's corporate social responsibility programme. It was launched in 2008 and has continued its fundraising efforts with support for a number of charities.

We have purchased 10 'grab bags' from the Help for Heroes charity, an organisation formed to help those wounded in Britain's current conflicts. Each of these bags contains items to make the lives of solders more comfortable during hospital stays. They also contain a note from a school child and a letter from Arc Legal.

Once again this year, Arc Angels will take part in the 'Race for Life' event in aid of Cancer Research UK. Twelve female members of the Arc Legal team will participate in the event, with the hope of exceeding last year's total raised - £1,600. Arc Angels has also made a donation to the Metropolitan & City Police Orphans Fund, which supports the children of serving and former officers who subscribed to the Fund whilst serving, and who are either deceased or retired on pension, and are so incapacitated as to be unable to contribute materially to the family upkeep.

Finally, Arc Angels has made a donation to support Rob Constable, Managing Director, George Burrows (Heath Lamberts Affinity Division) to participate in Children Today's PFA South Africa Challenge, whereby six ex-premiership footballers captain teams in challenges across South Africa.
