Arc contract supports launch of CCV Letting Agents
Arc has been appointed to provide landlords' legal and rent guarantee protection for CCV Letting Agents Solutions (CCV LAS), as part of its launch into the property rental market.
Landlord cover has been a core area of Arc's business since its launch in 2003. Arc already provides a range of landlord and rental cover to brokers, tenant referencing and mortgage provider clients.
CCV LAS is part of Callum Capital Ventures, one of the UK's largest independently owned insurance intermediaries. Its Chairman is Peter Cullum.
Arc renews prestigious contract
AXA Assistance has renewed its travel legal expenses insurance claims handling contract with Arc following the success of the company's proactive claims management approach .
Travel legal costs claims management is a challenging area as most travel policies provide worldwide cover, enabling claims to be brought in any jurisdiction. Arc's unique approach includes developing bespoke processes and solicitor arrangements, which provides a highly streamlined case management system.
This contract renewal will see Arc provide cover for 2.5 million customers of Lloyd's TSB, one of the largest travel insurance accounts in the UK.
Arc continues Irish growth
Arc continues to be one of the legal expenses insurance market leaders in Ireland. The company currently manages around 400,000 policies, covering clients in a range of sectors including motor, family, commercial, property owners and identity theft.
On top of this, Arc has also renewed its relationship with AA Insurance Services in Ireland to manage motor legal costs insurance following the transfer of the underwriting to SAGA Insurance Company Ltd.
The contract sees Arc continuing to provide cover to pursue uninsured loss recovery claims as well as personal injury claims which fall outside of the Personal Injury Advisory Board (PIAB). Arc also provides a telephone advisory service to customers pursuing PIAB cases.
Arc provides fleet motor legal costs to AXA
Arc has been appointed to provide motor legal costs to AXA Corporate Solutions (AXA) fleet clients. This means that all uninsured loss recovery and personal injury claims are now handled by a leading UK law firm.
Personal injury legal expenses insurance is particularly important to AXA's international business clients as this form of cover is expected to be included as standard in continental Europe.
Further fleet clients are due to launch over the next 12 months.
Arc continues growth with office move
Arc has marked another successful year of growth by moving into larger offices.
The company, which launched in 2003 with three staff, today employs 20 staff and expects to generate £8 million turnover in 2008. Arc works for some of the leading financial brands and its products cover over 7.5 million customers and operates across the UK and Ireland.
The company continues to be based near Colchester, Essex.
Arc Angels support for Children in Need and Barnado's
Arc Angels, the company's corporate social responsibility programme launched in 2008, has continued its fundraising efforts with support for two nationwide charities.
The company staged a tea party and sold cakes brought in by Arc's staff to other local business in support of Children in Need. This raised £80, which Arc matched to total £160.
This Christmas, Arc Angels will support Barnardo's secret Santa, whereby members of Arc's staff will donate items to the charity. Arc is also donating £100 to the cause.
These fundraising efforts continue the company's corporate social responsibility programme, which provides support to voluntary groups and the fundraising efforts of staff and the company's strategic partners on a local and national scale. Earlier this year, eight female members of the Arc team took part in the Colchester 'Race for Life' event and raised over £1,600 for Cancer Research UK.
