Arc Angels is Arc Legal’s corporate social responsibility programme. It was launched in 2008 and has continued its fundraising efforts with support for a number of charities.

Arc Angels team step up to first London Marathon challenge

Richard Finan, Director of Arc Legal and colleague Ian Brown an Account Executive both completed their first London Marathon on the 25th April.

After weeks of hard work and preparation for the run, they both persevered through the rain and cold to complete the 26 miles in some pretty respectable times around the 4hr 30minute mark.

All the hard paid off as they both raised over £5000 for Sense, the national charity that supports and campaigns for deaf blind adults and children.

BIBA delegates help Arc Legal support Help for Heroes

Arc Legal marked their first attendance at a British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) conference in May by asking visitors to their exhibition stand to nominate one of Arc Angel’s main charities for the company to make an additional contribution towards.

Conference visitors at the ExCel centre in London’s Docklands, were offered the chance to vote for Headway Essex, Metropolitan Police City & Orphans Fund, Help for Heroes or Essex Air Ambulance. Each charity received great support from those attending but Help for Heroes came out on top.

The organisation which supports wounded UK Servicemen and women, received a £100 donation. The Arc Legal teams would like to thank all those who took the time to participate in our fundraiser and for supporting such great causes.

St Helena Hospice Summer Fete

Members of the Arc Legal team attended St Helena Hospice annual summer fete with two wheelbarrows full of drinks donated by Arc Legal staff. The wheelbarrows were raffled off in two separate ‘his’ and ‘hers’ draws, with the winner taking the lot, wheelbarrow and all!

The raffle was a huge success, raising a massive £761 for the Hospice’s valuable work in Essex.

Arc Angel’s prepare for the Race for Life

Arc Legal staff will be supporting Cancer Research’s Race for Life again this year.

A team of 16 members of staff will be running the 5K race from the University of Essex in Colchester on Sunday 11th July. With many of the team having run the race before there’s plenty of competition and hard work in training to improve on previous times!
