About Us

Arc Legal Assistance was launched in 2003 by three individuals with a vision to modernise the legal expenses insurance market.

Drawing on our wealth of knowledge and experience within the legal expenses and assistance service sectors, we designed a unique business model to streamline the claims process and create a robust and effective risk management framework, while allowing a high degree of flexibility of approach.

We recognise that a 'one size fits all' approach simply does not work. Therefore, we look at each client's requirements on an individual basis and construct bespoke arrangements to meet their needs using our multi-disciplined solicitors’ panel as well as solicitors appointed by our clients.

Our model can be used equally effectively by clients who wish to underwrite legal expenses insurance in house or by those who wish to buy in externally underwritten products.

We work with insurers, intermediaries, financial institutions and affinity groups, focusing upon delivering bespoke solutions providing ‘best in market’ legal advice and case handling.

Our portfolio of contracts include the management of over 6.3 million travel legal expenses policies, over £360 million worth of tenant deposits insurance and providing access to off duty legal protection for 1 in 2 police officers in England and Wales.
